Take a moment and really think about this...

Ask yourself the question; Am I the type of person I would want to meet?

To answer this question a little soul searching may need to be done. Start with asking yourself these two simple questions:

Q: What type of person would you like to meet?

Q: What type of person would you rather not meet?

Make a list of the qualities, characteristics and traits for each type of person. Look over your two lists and be honest with yourself. Which traits do you possess on a daily basis?

Use these two lists to guide you as you mold and shape your personality. This will ensure that you really are the type of person others want to meet.

Who you are reflects on your Lord and Savior, represent him well.

It is important to remember in spite of turmoil and chaos, the Lord is not absent or removed, just quiet.

I find it interesting that during the times of the most noise and disarray, we stand waiting for a loud thunderous answer. When sometimes all we need to do is be quite, be patient, get alone with God and rest in His soft, gentle, peaceful presence.

"I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His Word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning."

TODAY

Next time difficulty arises, rest in your faith  knowing that God has prepared you to overcome any test sent your way. Although, He may be quiet, remember that your God is never far away.

Consider this as a Helpful Guide

• ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN: Your mentally and thinking can sometimes determine your outcomes. Make a habit of expecting something wonderful to happen!
• THERE IS ALWAYS A CHOICE: It may not always seem like it, but trust me the choice is yours. What you allow or do not allow in your life is up to you. In Deuteronomy 30:19 God gives us the choice life or death, blessing or cursing. The choice is yours. Step out of the mindset of a helpless victim and into the realm of empowerment. 
• GET COMFORTABLE BEING UNCOMFORTABLE: We can't control everything. Attempting to control everything is a recipe for disaster, let go and let GOD. 
• BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE IN YOUR WORLD: Treat people like you want to be treated, it's as simple as that. If you want to see compassion, be compassionate. If you want to see honesty, act with integrity. If you want to see humility, be humble. 

Keep in mind, that the best lessons are the lessons REMEMBERED

Take these four life lessons to heart, put them into action and watch your life change!

Anger

HE WHO ANGERS YOU, CONTROLS YOU.. 

God knows that we get angry and upset, yet, He doesn't condemn us for it.

He condemns, what too often occurs, as a result of our anger and frustration.

E P H E S I A N S  4:26 tells us...

"In your anger do not sin." Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.

• Don't sin by letting anger gain control over you, your actions and your thoughts. 
• The longer we allow anger to take place in our mind, the greater chance we give it to control us.

We are also told in R O M A N S  12:19

 DO NOT take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written:

"It is mine to avenge; I will repay."

It is important to know that one of Satan's greatest weapons is our uncontrolled emotions. When we are hurt, frustrated or angry we are more susceptible to the lies of the Devil. Be aware of the tactics he uses and combat them with God's peace and love. 

TODAY: 

Ask Jesus for strength and wisdom to turn away wrath with gentle answers.

Ask Him for help, so that you may abide in His love always.  

When anger arises make your actions and responses pleasing to the Lord.

Imagine sacrificing your life for someone or something only to be "FORGOTTEN"

  Forgotten means YOU have gone unnoticed, YOU have been disregarded and unremembered.

 Would it be worth it, sacrificing your own life knowing you may not be remembered?

WOULD YOU DO IT?   

It’s tragic that all around the world men and women willingly laid down their lives. Yet, they are regrettably bestowed a legacy of being unrecognized, unhonored, over looked and ultimately FORGOTTEN.

Memorial day is a time to REMEMBER...

Let's take a moment to compare these two essential items and the importance we place on them.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if we treated our BIBLE the way we treat our CELL PHONE?

I am going to pose a few questions;

Think on them, answer them and allow them to resonate within your heart...

• What if we carried our bible in our purse or pockets?
• What if we flipped through it several times throughout the day?
• What if when we forget it we turn back to go get it?
• What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
• What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
• What if we gave it to children as gifts and presents?
• What if we used it when we traveled?
• What if we used it in case of an emergency?

Also, unlike our cell phones, we don't have to worry about our Bibles being disconnected or dropped phone calls. Jesus, already paid the bill and it just so happens that we have the BEST service provider available!

It's summer time

No matter where you live or what you like to do with your free time,

take a break, enjoy the sunshine and relax...

Here are some fun summer activities that may be perfect for you and your loved ones:

1. Swimming- Are you close to an ocean? lake? community pool? or have a pool in your back yard? Spend the day basking in the sunshine. Have fun, laugh and enjoy a short escape to a water paradise. 
2. Putt Putt Golf- This is a great family friendly activity! You can even go later in the day to try and beat the heat. Most places have lights to illuminate the course at night. 
3. Movie Theater- Maybe you've had too much sunshine and want a cool place to enjoy your day so go see a movie! A lot of theaters sell less expensive matinee movie tickets therefore, you could see two different movies back to back. Also, don't forget about the midnight premieres!
4. Concerts and Festivals- Explore your own city; take part in free activities such as outdoor concerts, festivals, art shows and other cultural events.

CREATION vs. EVOLUTION

Evolution vs. Creation

I am here in beautiful Molokai, Hawaii speaking at King's Chapel by the invitation of Dr. Jim Morocco. These past few days have been extraordinary. I awoke this morning before the sun rose standing in front of the ocean, in awe as I looked upon the glory of God's beautiful creation! My mind was filled with the thought of evolution and creation.

How did our world and everything in it come to exist? 

This common question seems to arise fairly frequently. However, Isn't it interesting that the only explanation you will find in public schools and university's textbooks is the theory of Evolution. Yet, actually NO true scientific, provable evidence supporting the theory of Evolution has emerged since Charles Darwin, popularized it in 1859. To put it in simple terms, Evolution basically suggests that somewhere in the eons of time, collismic chemicals collided, and by "chance" out of it came "life". It would be easier to believe that you could drive a Volkswagen into a tree and it would come out a Cadillac. 

Everything God created is for a "Purpose"

Allow me to pose a question, "If there is no support for the theory of Evolution then why isn't the alternative of Creation equally taught?

• The Bibles' Creation is not deemed "Politically Correct"
• People simply do not have all the facts

Let's consider a few facts about Evolution and Creation

• There is zero evidence that Charles Darwins' theory of Natural Selection proves change of species 
• There is no evolutionary evidence that life just happened by accident
• Evolution does not explain life, intelligence, thoughts or consciousness
• Nature is the greatest proof of Creation and Gods' existence.
  
• DNA, Gravity, Photosynthesis & Climate (just to name a few) were all created for a divine purpose and not by accident.
• A world that fits together so seamlessly could have only been created by a masterful designer.

In (2 Peter 3:3-7) the scripture tells us that in the last days, men would choose to deliberately forget that God created the world.

Evolution is simply FICTION!

REALITY is..."Science, logic and reason all favor CREATION!

Remember God created you and you are made is His image. He has orchestrated a divine plan and purpose for your life.

You were not created by accident or happenstance.

You were individually planned, molded and created by God. 

FEAR NOT

FEAR NOT

Almost every book in the Bible has a scripture containing the words "Fear not" or "Do not be afraid." I think God is trying to tell us something! The enemy uses fear but God wants us to have faith in Him.

Feed your faith and your fears will starve to death

Jesus challenges us to have faith in spite of situations that may cause fearful thoughts and actions rooted in fear. 

I S A I A H  41:10

"Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

The words "FEAR NOT" are God's way of simply telling us DON'T RUN! God has given us a simple solution to this enormous problem of FEAR that for some, is difficult to overcome. Rather than running and giving in, we must stand strong and firm against it!

Giving into to FEAR alters God's best plan and life for you. Use the power of God's Word to do what He wants you to do. 

Remember, God has gone before you and He has prepared a way...

TRUST HIM and FEAR NOT!
