HOW'S GOD'S FAVORITE CHILD?

A few years ago, I was going through a very difficult time. I found myself unwilling to be tied to many of the traditions in church that I grew up loving.

I hungered for a freshness of God’s presence.
I didn't want to pray just to receive answers from God- I wanted to pray to experience God. I wanted to know Him intimately.

During that time, I had a friend by the name of Clyde Warren, who would called me every Saturday night for a year. We would always begin the conversation with the same question.

“How’s God’s favorite child?”

I know that we are all God’s favorite children, but these words brought a connection in my life that was life changing.

For to 'favor' also means to "look like"

We hear it in a phrase, “that person favors their father or mother”.

Today when people look at you and me, do they say you favor your Heavenly Father…?

I believe there are 3 things that will show if we favor God our father....

1. Bent knees in prayer

2. Tear filled eyes for the lost and

3. Hearts filled with passion for God and for lost people

You are a great person.

Today proclaim- you are God’s favorite child!
