GOD KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING WITH YOU!

No matter what things may look like in your life,

Whether things aren’t going as planned, you don’t understand why you’re at the job your at, why He’s tugging at your heart in a certain direction or why He might even have you serving somewhere seemingly unnoticed…whatever the case might be,

• God has a plan- a detailed plan just for YOU to fit YOUR life! 
• He cares for you & created you with a glorious destiny & purpose in mind! 

Most often we only see things from our own peripheral vision-

Just a few feet ahead of us, while God sees everything from our past, present and future and knows us best.

He knows exactly how you need to prepare in order to help you succeed and be ready for the next great thing He has for you!

A king does not rule without the proper training first.
An athlete does not excel without exercise & hours in the weight room.
A top CEO does not reach his position without extensive education.

No matter how you may feel or what people around you tell you-

Don't EVER give up in your time of training, or quit when you think that God has you on a shelf and isn't using you.

But rather remind yourself of His goodness & His love for you!

-Because knowing that He truly has your best interest at heart will help suppress fear of abandonment or feelings of deficiency.

Sometimes when something seemingly good comes along,
we can be too quick to jump at it.

   Just because something looks good in the natural,
does not always mean that it’s the right thing to do.

• Sometimes God might lead you to say no to something, even when you don’t understand, because he has something even better for you!

Now that doesn’t mean that we take it to the extreme; always sitting around doing nothing waiting for something better in life-

But I am saying that most of us know ourselves well enough to know when we are settling, falling in to complacency or not trying hard or stretching ourselves enough.

• In any decision you make, always consult your inner spirit man to see if there is peace before proceeding.

Because all to often

we treat our spirits stop signs just like caution signs-

We gently proceed to roll right on through when it’s in our best interest to stop first!

TODAY:

• DO what’s best, even if it seems a little harder!
• Make decisions out of your spirit, not physical senses realm
• And know that you are WORTH the best!

KIEV UPDATE!

Victory Christian Center is in the heart of a city of the Hills, Kiev Ukraine. Next month they will be celebrating 18 years since pastor Henry Madava planted this church and more than 200 other churches throughout the nation of Ukraine.

The challenges here are unending; everything from government, the Orthodox Church and a nation that desperately needs love. But thousands of people attend weekly services and on Sunday when James Huey began to sing, the worship erupted. The sound was electrifying & could not be stopped. The people were very responsive to the Word and the altars were filled in every service. Eyes were filled with tears.

It is rare to find a pastor and a church anywhere in the world that cares so deeply for people who are lost and about expanding the Kingdom. Pastor Henry is involved in Thailand, Pakistan and India and this evening at dinner He said, quote,  

“I want to reach the people that no body else wants, to show them the power of the Kingdom of God.”

I am so thankful that we will be here again very soon.

The Altar Call

 

Praying was never meant to be hard!

It is so sacred and revitalizing, yet many don’t do it because prayer seems too intimidating.

The fear of not being eloquent enough in speech, not knowing exactly what to say, or even HOW to pray will keep many away from a fulfilling relationship with Jesus.

Prayer's just a fancy word for simply talking to your Heavenly Father-
the God who loves you and who created you!

It’s pouring out the thoughts, desires & emotions of your heart.

I’ve learned that we don’t have to try and work ourselves up to feeling something in order to pray, -we can just do it.

And know that we don’t have to “get in to the spirit” because The Spirit of God already resides on the inside of us after we got born again & accepted Jesus Christ into our lives!

-Because just like the cartoon above, by the time we’re done, it’s too hard & at times we don’t even feel like praying anymore anyways..

Instead, we need to base our prayers off of faith rather than emotion.

“And how bold and free we then become in his presence, freely asking according to his will, sure that he's listening. And if we're confident that he's listening, we know that what we've asked for is as good as ours.” I John 5:14, 15

Talk to God with your own personality.

He sees your heart and wants you to be you! Just the way He created you!  

IT STARTS TODAY!!

Today at 2:30 I will be boarding my flight for Kiev!

I am prayed up, prepared and ready to go. 

This trip has been in the making for a long time- so glad that it’s finally here!

 This morning I am overwhelmed with thoughts of gratitude towards all those who have so faithfully stood by us in order to make these Soul-Winning Celebrations possible.

Again, thank you for your support in both finances and in prayer!

The 1st Soul-Winning Celebration will be held this Sunday.

Yesterday my assistant had printed out pages of all those who had signed up to pray a minute a day with us and left comments on my Facebook page.

I am excited as I kept going over them, encouraged in the thought of all the tremendous power made available through all the fervent prayers from around the world!

Isaiah 52:7 has been echoing in my mind lately.

"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring the good news, who announce peace, and bring good news of happiness, who announces salvation and says Zion's God reigns!"

Where ever you may find yourself today,

-share the message of good news
-announce peace
-bring news of happiness
-announce salvation and 
-proclaim, our God reigns

to all those around you!

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY!!!

Ukraine here we come!!!

For all those participating in the Facebook event for prayer, you know that we do things for the Lord on the very frontlines of the battlefield. We face confrontation and stand strong for the Lord against the forces of darkness.

But many times the enemy will not only try to attack on the frontlines, but will attack families & loved ones on the home front, so the importance of prayer is priceless.

Some things that you can hook up with us in faith for if you’re praying!!

1. Safe Travel! Not only for us, but all the others coming to the meetings

2. Protection over my whole family & staff and James Huey’s family.

3. That the remaining $7,000 will be raised successfully

4. For an abundance of souls born in to the Kingdom of God.

5. Remaining fruit. We want to honor God and His church. Pray that the support & membership of Kharkov Christian Center, and Kiev’s Victory Church will continue to grow faithfully as they are being faithful to serve God!

I cannot tell you how much we deeply appreciate people praying & partnering with us.

Your support is making a world of difference not only for James family and mine, but for people all over the Globe.

 What's Missing From CH_ _CH? >> U R

I believe that Church is one of the greatest parts of life.

It’s a place where we come and are able to grow and be fed the Word of God, worship, fellowship, and invite the lost to come to Christ; among many other things. 

But I think that if we are not careful, our churches can become stumbling blocks rather than positive influences!

• When no life, outreaches of love or genuine care can be found anywhere near them, they are many times looked upon as mere clubs, hangouts and ‘duty’ centers for the religious by the outside world.

Seeming secluded, and set apart for those elect few who qualify ‘good enough’ to be a part, leaving the rest out, in their fear that judgment is the only thing awaiting them within those 4 walls. 

-The truth is that many places have built walls rather than built relationships with the people in the community & other surrounding churches.

 1 John 3:18:
"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."

 

It is time to let the walls of the church come down and allow people to see the love of the Church, which is the heart of Jesus.

I am not saying tear down every church.

It's a heart issue I am talking about
-tearing down the “walls of the heart”.

Jesus’ love reached across every boundary, denomination, high wall, ethnicity, social status and fault.

We cannot make the mistake and think that 'the church' is only a building or an auditorium.

The church is a people! The body of Christ!

It's time to love beyond the boundaries of our comfort & home and stretch out a helping hand to those in need!!

"UNKNOWINGLY FEEDING JESUS"

MATTHEW 25:35-40

³⁵ For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, ³⁶ I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

³⁷ “Then the righteous will answer him:

‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
³⁸ When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
³⁹ When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

⁴⁰ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

• When we care for people, not only do we alleviate their suffering, but Jesus said that we show care for Him personally!

We become doers of the Word, and not just hearers.

We practice what God did with us in John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that He gave…..”

And God didn’t just give us spare left over pocket change, but He gave the most precious and valuable thing that He had…

He gave us everything.

Total salvation,
Total restoration &
Total healing.

As Christians especially, I think that we should always be the first ones on to the scene to stretch out a helping hand. Be the ones to give a warm hug, speak words of comfort, and offer any help & support we can in order to exemplify the Love of Christ to those around us.

One of the greatest gifts Jesus ever gave us was the gift of access.

 "For through Him we have access by the Spirit unto the Father." 

Ephesians 2:18

We have been given access, just like you would wear a V.I.P badge to get in to a reserved setting, or getting an invitation to be a part of something exclusive!

 Jesus knew that we could not be able to stand before God and His holiness by our good acts alone.

-He knew we needed a savior to help take us back to the very beginning of holiness before the fall of man in the Garden of Eden.

So Jesus came to the earth and gave His life as a perfect, spotless, and sinless sacrifice in our place to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

He came to make a way for us to be back in right standing with the father again.
