 THE BEAUTY OF THE NEW

2 Corinthians 5:17 

"If many be in Christ, he is a NEW creature; old things have PASSED AWAY, behold all things have BECOME NEW"

So many people fear the future,
because of things that have happened to them in the past.

-Family abuse, lack of education, mistreatment, failure...whatever it might be...

In the natural it can all amount to making you feel like you're worthless; that God can't use you and that there is no hope for you ever having a good future.....

but that's not true!

• No matter what you may of done, the things that have happened to you or what you've come out of, your past doesn't dictate your future when you are in Christ.

If you ever start feeling condemned after you've already asked for forgiveness & given your past to God, that's not Him trying to constantly remind you of everything, that's the devil trying to make you feel bad- and you don't have to accept it, because you've already given it to God! So rebuke those thoughts, and continue abiding in God's perfect peace! ISAIAH 43:25

TODAY:

• Let God show you the beauty of your future by spending time with Him. -He's got a great plan for you! Jer 29:11

• Trust in His ability to guide you by His HOLY SPIRIT as you stay in close fellowship with Him!
  

 If you haven't already, ask God to make you new!

THE GUARD OF 2 THINGS

If our heart & mind are not guarded,
they can become very shaken & bent by the storms of life.

PHILIPPIANS 4:7 says:

“The peace of God will GUARD your heart and GUARD your mind”

        -Not just fill them....but will actually help GUARD them!

Dwelling in the peace of God will help your heart fight of fear.

-It will guard your mind from doubt, worry, anxiety and restlessness, because you have placed yourself in God’s hands.

When you trust on Him, you dwell within His peace!

TODAY:

• Meditate on Philippians 4:7
• It's a short verse & easy to remember, but very powerful when you speak it over yourself!
• Exchange all worries concerning future & well-being for God's peace!

GOD IS NOT TOO BUSY FOR YOU TODAY!

Have you ever wanted to get around to something,
but just felt like you never had the time?

There is always something that seems to come up & divert our attention.

It's easy to think that God is the same way about us

but the truth is that YOU are God's #1 priority!

• He always has time for you,
  
• He always hears you when you pray and  (1 John 5:14)
  
• He's always there, because He's promised to NEVER leave nor forsake you!

Psalms 116:1 & 2

"I love the Lord because He hears MY voice and MY supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live!"

You will NEVER find God wearing a "Please Do Not Disturb" sign!!

Jesus gave His life on the cross in order to create an opportunity for us to have fellowship & communion with Him & our Heavenly Father!!

--It meant THAT much to Him......

If we only understood His passion for US, it would completely revolutionize the way we look at our time spent with Him.

TODAY:

Don't ever let anyone tell you that God is too busy for you. He gave the most valuable thing He had, so that you could be free to come to Him anytime you'd like! Make Him a part of your day; read His word, which is a personal letter to you! Your spirit can be in continual communication with Him through prayer, no matter where you are!

IT'S TIME YOU TAKE IT
DOWN OFF THE SHELF

A single seed can look extremely insignificant.

It is very small
&&
doesn’t seem to be of any value or importance.

    But within that seed, lies an entire forest.
    -Because out of that seed comes a tree, and then more seed to plant more trees.

When it is planted, and taken care of- it begins to grow & the life within it is cultivated.

“Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gifts well.” 1 Peter 4:10 CEV

You may look at yourself and think…wow…my gift seems so small…

It carries no life, no value and no significance.

Too many people just put their seed on a shelf because they don’t think anything could come out of something that little.

But that’s not true!

Within that seed of talent & gifting in your life, is greatness!

--Your destiny is linked to that gift on the inside of you.
--Jesus has given you that to help bring glory to His Kingdom!

When you take whatever you have and give it to God, he not only multiplies it, but also blesses it- He puts His stamp of approval on it.

TODAY:

Dont. Ever. Underestimate. The. Seeds. Within. You!

1st Meeting In France! 

It has been an unusually early spring in Paris.

The warmth is making its way in, along with a fresh wind of God revitalization towards His people. He is causing the old to be stirred up, and passion & fire are being awakened strong within hearts!

What a dynamic move of God it’s been, shaking this place all weekend long.

The power of the resurrection has truly been in demonstration and we have taken confidence in the knowing that the book of Acts is alive and well still today!!

God has come among his people and lives are being supernaturally changed.

The altars here have been flooded with hungry hearts.

Paris is called the city of lights, but in its midst much spiritual darkness can be found.

Please continue to stand firm with us for this entire week that the light of Jesus will grow even brighter and that many will come to know Him and His saving grace!

That Changed The World Forever

How can mere words......

portray the beauty, the horror, the hope, the immesurable Love, the hurt, the suffering, the consecration, un-selfishness and endlessness of one incredible act of a man laying down His life for another during what the world knows as "Long Friday" and what we call Good Friday during Easter?

Jesus Christ. Sent by God to redeem man kind from the sin of the world.

He came to make a way to the Father.

To bring eternal life to those who would believe & receive Him in their hearts.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ all came down to one thing.

The most powerful thing of all--

LOVE.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  -John 15:13

He took OUR place. what should have been OUR punishment for the weight of sin and placed it upon HIS shoulders, so that we could be set free.

All He wanted in return?

Relationship. A friendship of intimacy and consecration.

Today we remember the greatest day in History.

The day that made a way for the creation, to know its creator.

This week and coming week I will be ministering @ Henry Lindermans in Paris, France. Please keep the meeting in your prayers, and that peoples hearts will be open to this message of Love and hope!

Holy FIRE In The BRONX! 

The Bronx in New York City is most famous for what’s known as the Bronx bombers, along with its New York Yankees; loved by many, disliked and feared by many others.

But in the heart of the Bronx, there is a lovely brick church known as “Van Nest” at the corner of Rhinelander and Holland. It probably looks just like hundreds of other brick churches all across America, but it may be the best neighborhood church in the U.S.

On the inside you’ll only find about 250 seats, but what happens there is extraordinary. With 5 services held on Sundays, starting at 8:30, somewhere near 1,200 people have passed through it’s doors by the last meeting at 7 pm.

This church is lead by a man of prayer, Pastor David Hernquist. 5 times a week he begins his days with powerful morning prayer at 5 am which he’s been doing that since 1997, and is now expanding from 5 to 9 am every morning.

  Almost everyone that comes to Van Nest is a part of that neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods, as it is a multi cultural and multi generational place. Anticipation and expectation is always in the atmosphere and while I‘ve been here speaking, for the last 6 days, prayer has begun at the church every morning at 5 am and has continued all the way through every service.

I love this congregation. I pray that God would raise up a thousand David Hernquist in ever part of the burrows of New York City!!

Pray for a powerful spiritual awakening to once again rock New York City that would awaken our great nation to the supernatural power of the living God!

LEAVING FOR FRANCE TONIGHT!!

Tonight after I’m done ministering at Van Nest Assembly in Bronx, NY we’re heading off to France! 

    We will be there from April 22^nd to May 2nd holding 2 “Soul-Winning Breakthrough Celebrations".

 Here are some Facts you might not have known!:

• 1 in 27 have ever seen a Bible.
• There are as many fortunetellers and occult practitioners as there are catholic priests, protestant pastors and medical doctors combined.
• 36,000 cities & towns have no evangelical church.
• Non-Catholic churches are considered to be cults.
• Bibles were burned during the 15th century.
• The mayor of Paris, a homosexual, wants to force churches out of Paris and build a Gay Center.
• A recent French law could lead to the disbanding of any association practicing evangelism, what they call “psychological manipulation.”
• Not only known for being one of the biggest witchcraft capitals in the world, it has become an Al Qaeda stronghold!

In spite of these facts, we know that God’s Spirit is moving and that revival is stirring in the hearts of the people and is getting ready to be released!

A Weekend To Remember!
 If you were to walk in to almost any little store where Easter stuff is being sold, you would see the shelves full of colorful eggs, bunnies and candy.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but today I just want to take this chance to remind you of the true significance of Easter!

A large part of Easter has been reduced down to bunnies, colored eggs, and baskets of candy, but in all reality Easter, is one of the most powerful Holidays, or time of year we ever celebrate!

• Easter starts on Good Friday, the day of Jesus’ crucifixion and goes until Sunday, the day of His resurrection!

It is the time that we celebrate Jesus
conquering death and overcoming the grave!

Through the cross, Jesus took all of our sin, shame & unrighteousness upon Him, and made a way for us to be blameless in the sight of the Father through Him.

Romans 4:25 says: "He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification!"

Remember the true purpose of Easter this weekend!

Yesterday was Palm Sunday!

• It is the Sunday before Easter, and marks the beginning of Holy Week, the week of events leading up to Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. 

It is a great  and powerful commencement of the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem to celebrate Passover.

The Gospel records Jesus riding into the city on a donkey, being welcomed by a multitude of people, honoring Him as their long-awaited Messiah and King.

The streets became filled with palm branches, olive branches and the cloaks of the crowd as they shouted “Hosanna to the Son of David!” & “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

Some Facts!:

• The donkey was a symbol of peace; those who rode upon them proclaimed peaceful intentions.
• The laying of palm branches indicated that the king or dignitary was arriving in victory or triumph!
• Donkey is the only animal that has the symbol of the cross on its back!

Lift up your voice of praise to the Lord this Week and make known to Him your welcome of Him in your life!

HE IS COMING AGAIN! Praise God! And Palm Sunday is just a reminder of the coming glory of His 2nd return!!!
