  SPRING CLEANING!

 

With the season of Spring, there is always a freshness & newness that seems to accompany its arrival.

The darkness  and clutter of winter gets renewed with life and of b;rightness of spring

Sometimes, one of the most important things we have to do, is take an inventory of our lives.

Almost like a check list- see what needs to stay, and what needs to go!

Overtime if we are not careful, junk can slowly begin to creep in to, and settle in our lives.

--the wrong habbits, wrong attitudes & even wrong work ethic that in turn begin to take up much of our time that could be used doing something productive and worthwhile instead!

But with the Word of God as our refference guide, it's easy to accurately see what needs change.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me."   Psalm 51:10

and Romans 12:1 tells us to be

"a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God."

It's time to roll up our sleeves and get to work!

The whole Bible is full of great instruction & guidance for us to enhance our character and integrity and clean out all the extra stuff that we've allowed to hang on to us.

TODAY:

Do an inventory of your life: both spiritual & natural.

Take a look at your accomplishments and then also take note of what needs to go or could be better!

LOVE is a universal language.

--Wherever you go, love can be communicated.

But if we do not know love, it is not something we can share.

• Just like you don't learn a language over night, but it is studied and learned, so we get into the world of God and we study out what the Bible has to say about love and the character of God, because He IS Love.

You can reach out to people by acts of kindness, words of encouragement, gifts of aid ect, because almost anywhere you go, you can find hurting people in need of comfort and help.

Exercising love in our hearts, and submersing ourselves in God will develop a compassion in us for people, just like Jesus Christ had in His heart for people.

HEBREWS 13:1 (AMP)

"Let love for your fellow believers continue and be a fixed practice with you [never let it fail]."

REMEMBER:

Words and acts might be forgotten, but the way you make people feel, and the way you make them feel about themselves will always be remembered!

So exercise your love, and care for someone today!

In a world where negativity is more widespread than even the worst epidemic flu, positivism can seem like a rare thing to come across. 

So as a result, defeated thinking can begin to set in--

Hopelessness, despair and thoughts of throwing in the towel and giving up.

But I am here to remind you of 2 words today.

Perhaps 2 of the most important words anyone could ever tell you are

YOU, CAN.

No matter what it is, if you set your mind to it, with the help of Christ, you can.

                                   You can be successful
                                   You can go to college
                                   You can be a good wife & mother
                                   You can be a good husband & father
                                   You can achieve your goals
                                   You can pursue your dreams
                                   You can own your own home
                                   You can start your own business

There is an old saying that goes like this:

• "If you want to be discouraged, look to others. If you want to be disheartened, look to yourself, but if you want to be encouraged, look to Jesus!"

You CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens you!!

" Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pegs. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left."

If you think little, your thoughts and attitudes will condem you to mediocrity.

Determined to start believing better of yourself, and believe better of God!

We have to conceive it on the inside before we're ever going to receive it on the outside!

If you don't think you can have something good, then you never will.

The barrier is in your mind.

• It's not God's lack of resources or your lack of talent that prevents you from prospering. Your own wrong thinking can keep you from God's best.

 The 1st step to living at your full potential is to enlarge your vision.

To live your best life now, you must start looking at life through eyes of faith, seeing yourself rising to new levels.

See your business taking off!
See your marriage restored!
See your family prospering!
See your dreams coming to pass!

and then SPEAK it out.

**You must conceive it and believe it is possible if you ever hope to experience it!

The joy of the Lord has been given to us inorder to help sustain us in any situation.

Living with a heart full of rejoicing will many times will help elivate you from a mindset of defeat, to one of victory.

   Laughter brings the focus away from anger, guilt, stress and negative emotions in a more beneficial way than other mere distractions.

When you are joyful, your body secretes 2 types of chemicals that fight cancer and other diseases-

neuropeptide & opioid. 

When we are joyful, our minds, bodies and spirits are effected by it.

Your mind can sense true joy coming from your spirit, and when your mind senses joy on the radar screen, it sends out "opioids" into the bloodstream which connect with "monocytes." The monocytes receive messages from the opioids which trigger a Pac-Man like response and they begin to eat bacteria and viruses that tear down your immune system.

One of God’s amazing characteristics is that He never OVER promises and UNDER delivers.

 He is unfailingly faithful.

He has the best track-record in the world--not ONE broken promise!

 Jeremiah 1:12 says
 that “GOD WATCHES OVER HIS WORD TO PERFORM IT!”

 1 Thessalonians 5:24
“FAITHFUL IS HE WHO CALLS YOU, AND HE WILL ALSO BRING IT TO PASS.”

 Genesis 28:15
"I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU UNTIL I HAVE DONE WHAT I HAVE PROMISED YOU."

 You can rest easy in knowing that when God promises you something, He doesn’t let you down.

But He is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we can even ask or think, so delivering on His promises when we are faithful to adhere to His Word is not a problem for Him, but rather a joy to love & provide for His children.  

TODAY:

If God has spoken to you, regardless of how long it might take to manifest, remind yourself with scriptures of how He never fails!

DARE TO DEVIATE

from the ways of this world.

Dare to not follow the crowd, but to follow God.

To go where He says go, to do what He says do, to pray what He tells you to pray.

Let your heart be so dedicated to Him, that the pull of the world cannot flinch you from the course in which He's called you walk.

Because as E. W. Kenyon once said....

Life outside of the will of God, won't mean much to you...

But in it, you'll experience the fullness of His provision, fullness and direction.

If you feel like you've made some wrong choices & decisions and you now find yourself on the wrong path, it's time to get back on point, to the course God has for you.

Shut out and disconnect yourself from all things trying to distract you from giving your absolute full attention and entire heart to God.

REMEMBER::

DON'T BE A PRODUCT OF SOCIETY,
BUT MAKE SOCIETY A PRODUCT OF YOU.

As you follow God, you will affect change today!

You were never intended to just need God's word occasionally. 

Or to just live on 1 spiritual meal for a week and that's it... but we are to stay continually fed, continually consumed with the Word of God!

Faith must be grown....daily!
 
Listening...to the Bible, is the greatest daily habit any achiever can birth & maintain.

  ROMANS 10:17 says

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

That word hearing, in the Greek, means to hear repetitively.

I urge you to download the Bible today into your computer.  Purchase the scripture on cd.  Do what ever you need to do in order to submerge yourself in it.

Update from CRETEIL, FRANCE!

We're back from 2 powerful weeks in Paris & Creteil!

The French were intense and engaging.

They filled the churches ready for God's transformation in both them & their loved ones.

Many people came to church for the first time ever, and Sunday night over 30 people responded to the altar call and we had a baptismal service.

Six years ago a very energetic & positive young man named Ivan Carluer, started "Eglise Chretienne de Pentecote" church in Creteil France.

Creteil, with all of its majestic beauty, a suburb of Paris, had everything…

but ONE thing…God!

God has granted Pastor Ivan favor and given him great wisdom in the philosophy of how to develop a productive, transforming church, full of compassionate people.

The church their now owns their own building, which is unheard of and virtually impossible in Paris, because the government does not want Protestants, whom they consider a cult.

Also, the University of Paris campuses is right across the expressway from the church!

In only 6 years, they've gone from 0 to 500!  This does not include children and they conduct 3 services every Sunday. 

 Remember this!

The major cities of our world are the most un-evangelized places on planet earth. Pray that God will rise-up thousands of more, young Ivan Carluer’s!
