Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk and live in Your truth; direct and unite my heart [solely, reverently] to fear and honor Your name.
Psalm 86:11
If we listen to God’s voice and live God’s way, if we choose to serve Him, we can avoid long wrestling matches with Him.
Wisdom tells us to let God do with us what He wants, so we don’t keep going around the same “mountain” all the time see (Deuteronomy 2:3).
- I have met people who have been dealing with the same obstacles and issues for ten and twenty years. If they had simply obeyed God in the beginning they would have moved on with their lives long ago.
- No matter how much you may enjoy where you are when God finds you, He won’t let you stay there and become stagnant......
He has new places to take you and new lessons to teach you. He wants to keep you full of life, full of growth, and full of his purpose and plans!
God has said to us “If you don’t pay attention to Me, if you ignore Me and do not give heed to My reproof, I am going to cry out to you. I will try to help you, but if you continue to give Me a deaf ear, you will come to Me in a panic when you get in trouble” (see Proverbs 1:24-28).
God is merciful and patient with us, but there comes a point where we’ve just got to realize that we’ve got to be obedient to Him.......
TODAY:
The sooner we obey and start living God’s way, the sooner things will begin to work themselves out and you’ll start enjoying life more!
