Let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be people perfectly and fully developed with no defects, lacking in nothing.
-James 1:4
If you are steadfast about something......
it means you are stable in every way.
A steadfast person is steady, calm, and even-tempered no matter what comes their way.
You can’t always control what happens to you, but you have the power to choose your reaction to any situation.
When we mature spiritually to the point that we can maintain a level of steadfastness, then we don’t react to every little thing that tries to distract us.
Regardless of what the enemy tries to scare you with, you don’t have to be afraid, easily upset or give up and be moved.
But in order to be steadfast & immovable, you must know God, and know Him intimately.
- You have to be able to hear His voice in the midst of life’s storms when they are swirling around you.
- We have to know & put in to daily practice the overcoming power that belongs to us in the name of Jesus and through the blood of Jesus.

Remember that “that this too, shall pass” and keep your sights set on the victory that is sure, rather than allow yourself to be tossed and turned by everything the devil tries to intimidate you with!
