NO LONGER SHUT OUT BY THE VEIL

HEBREWS 10:19,20

“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;”

In the Old Testament,
there was a thick curtain also known as the ‘veil’ that hung in the temple to create a point of distinction between the outer courts and the holy of holies.

It was a mere separation from the intimate presence of God.

Because it was so sacred, no ordinary person could enter into the temple beyond that veil, because of sin.

Anyone entering the holy of holies, except for the high priest (who only did it once a year) would fall dead because of the glory! Hebrews 9:7

The veil is said to have been 60 feet high, 30 feet wide & four inches thick.

But when Jesus went to the cross, and took our sin upon Him and restored our gateway of fellowship with the Father, the power of God literally tore the veil in half!

From top to bottom- signaling that this was no accident, but it was an act of God!

SO HOW DOES THAT EFFECT YOU???

We can now approach God boldly and know that because of Jesus, He now welcomes us with open arms!
