St.Petersburg

        This city is the "Jewel" of Russia. It is lavished with the most luxurious palaces in Russia. It is a city of haunting magnificence, which in itself, is a monument compared to other cities.

    St. Petersburg is the second largest city in Russia with a population of about 4.6 million. 

    St. Petersburg, like a jewel has many facets of sparkle & splendor which is just one of the many reasons that it has a piece of my heart.

    One of the top stories in the St. Petersburg Times was titled, “Experts: 64 Percent of Russian Pregnancies End in Abortion.” In this article, the crisis of this matter was described:

•    More than 64% of all pregnancies end in abortion.

•    One in ten women who undergo abortion in Russia are below 18 years old.

•    Although birth control pills are available and abstinence is always an option, abortion remains a
     common method of birth control.      

•    Only 40% of pregnancies are planned.   

•    200,000 to 250,000 women each year are               stripped of their biological ability to procreate

    In January of 2008, I was privileged to be a part of planting the church in St. Petersburg, Russia. Pastor Edward Grabovenko of New Testament Church in Perm, Russia was paving the way of the establishment of this church.

    During the conference, we were able to gather 800-900 people. 270 people accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior, PRAISE GOD! That means we have snatched 270 more people from the pit of Hell. Today about a hundred people regularly attend Sunday services In St. Petersburg. Glory to God!
